They Make Great Pets

After searching high and low we finally found the perfect pets!

First we had to give them both baths (the pets not the kids).

Jordan did not look like he was taking his job very seriously so I made him show me his pet up real close so I could be sure that his was good and clean, especially since this will be the one and only bath these little guys get. No StInKy rocks in the Blaylock house! After a very thorough inspection I was happy with his job well done!

These are going to be some fancy pets, these kiddos are taking this very seriously.

I am a proud Mommy. Leah only HAD to taste the paint once before she decided it was really something she would rather play with and not eat. My helper man Jordan cleaned up Leah's tray, his hands, his spot and did a great job it really was impressive for a 2 + year old. The pet's on the other hand, I think maybe only a mother can love. Jordan decided that they are a gift for Daddy. What a lucky Daddy!

for the first time

Leah woke up from her nap and she was just played in her bed for a while. Usually she starts crying immediately when she wakes until someone goes in to get her. I peeked in on her using the monitor and she was just playing with her toes, walking around, talking, stretching, and playing with with her stuffed doggie...too cute. It did not last long. Just long enough for me to write this post...have to go. It must have been the fresh air she had the opportunity to enjoy with Mommy today!

two can be so much fun

Can you believe this dear sweet boy...
this dear sweet smiling boy of mine was placed in 5 YES you read that right... not one, not two, not even three but FIVE time outs today. On the way up to the last one I told him he was going in a time out for hitting Leah and he responded with "Yeah, that is a good idea". Lovely.
Then again, all was right with the world when we were getting ready for bed and he ever so gently stroked my cheek and all in one breath said, "I love you more Mommy, you and Leah are my favorite girls". Awwww! I love YOU more Jordan... I love YOU more!

I Big Puffy Heart Her

She has not been feeling well lately. This is one of her crabby faces.

She was finally feeling well enough today to play for a while without hanging on Mommy while crying. Jordan was napping so I took the chance to snap a few pics of her.
I really can't help myself. I adore this girl.

I have so much fun taking pictures of her. That cute little nose and those adorable cheeks. And oh that smile, I love that smile!
