There is nothing sweeter than cuddling up close with your kiddos. I am thankful I am lucky enough to give and receive kisses from my baby girl.

30 days of gratitude {day 29}

I am  thankful for the imagination of my children and the wonderment and excitement that the Holidays bring to them.

This morning they found our elf Mookie in our bathroom. He left them window markers and he also left  them a message on the mirror to, "always be kind." It took them a long time to find him. They both started to get a little worried that maybe he did not come back from the North Pole. They were so excited when they finally found him.

They played with the markers all morning. On our way pulling out of the driveway to school Jordan told me that he thought it was so thoughtful of Mookie to bring them those markers.

I am thankful for some downtime when Jordan is away at school.

I am thankful for the ease of technology. In under 2 minutes I had an image taken and online of me, Darth Vadar and my unicorn to share for the day.

30 days of gratitude {day 24}

I think it goes without saying I am incredibly thankful for my family. I have an amazing husband and two awesome kids. Jordan made this picture for me. I love how he always draws himself so he is bigger than Daddy and he always makes our shirts our favorite colors. He can be so thoughtful.

I have been talking to the the kids all week about what I am thankful for and I have been asking them what they are thankful for too. Today Jordan told me he was thankful for worms and his family. Every time I ask Leah what she is thankful for she tells me she is thankful for unicorns...I love that!

I am thankful for my dad, "little" papa. He has a kind and generous soul. My kids adore him and I think the world of him.

I am thankful for fun and easy crafts that we can do together that both the kids can do and enjoy. We had fun making these puppets and then the kids had even more fun showing off the creations with a puppet show. Check out the "bellybutton" on Leah's snowman...too funny!!

I am so thankful my kids go to an awesome preschool where they teach them really cool stuff like this! Some of you have seen this already but I love it so had to share again.

Today I am thankful that my two little ones stood together long enough for me to snap a pic of them in front of the Christmas tree. They were running around like wild Indians moments before this shot! It may not be the greatest pic but they are together and one kid is smiling so that counts for something. Sometimes it is the little things, the very little things.

fifty two on friday ~ week 43 (warmth)/30 days of gratitude {day 4}

I had to combine both 52 on friday and days of gratitude today since I don't want to skip either one of my little projects. Leah and I had so much fun playing in front of the camera together. Her love provides me so much warmth.

For so many reasons, I am thankful to love and to be loved by her.
